Padaro Lane Oceanfront - II
Shortly after finishing this home's renovation, the owners decided to add on and remodel again. This time LFH added on to the structure to allow for a relocated stairwell, a larger second master suite, a larger primary master suite with walk-in closets, and a full-size laundry room. The existing upgrade to the home was the installation of a smart-home automation system (including audio/video, lighting, automatic shades, surveillance, and network) which brought the home into the 21st Century.
French Oak cabinetry, floors, marble baths, Starphire glass showers, integral-color thin-wall plaster, 316-Stainless steel, and Fleetwood sliding door systems made up the finishes that brought the level of elegance even higher. The two master suites, one for owners and one for guests were built in full luxurious design and finishes with the floors, walls, and ceilings being treated with multiple forms of acoustical solutions to ensure privacy and comfort. For maintenance, a commercial-grade roof access hatch was installed.
To the exterior, the roof overhang was extended on the ocean side, and the deck was rebuilt with large planters that match the cedar siding of the main house but are in fact cast-in-place concrete. A fresh new gravel driveway, landscaping, and entry column finished out the site.
